Hardscrabble Ranch is thrilled to be the new “home base” of Seasonal Montana!
Tucked in the shadow of the Bridger Mountain Range and along the twisting banks of Brackett Creek, Hardscrabble Ranch sits on almost 80 acres of beautiful Southwest Montana land. Owners Kris and Peter Stewart spent fifteen years living in Bozeman, and just recently jumped at the chance to have a little more space, raise some animals, plant a garden, and enjoy life surrounded by mountains. Hardscrabble Ranch was born!
Peter and Kris welcome guests to stay on their property, take in the views, and celebrate anything from a laidback wedding, to a family reunion, or a backyard hoedown. Most groups enjoy feeding the ranch’s hungry pigs and curious chickens.
Currently, Hardscrabble Ranch welcomes groups (up to 66) to stay overnight in their two newly renovated lodges and glamping tents. The nearly five-acre front lawn and large dining areas provide ample space for meals, weddings, and celebrations. We break ground on a large outdoor cooking kitchen in the spring of 2021. But no worries - we have plenty of grills for you in the meantime.
We hope you come out to Hardscrabble to enjoy a meal by Seasonal Montana, then make a night of it - stay in one of our lodges or glamping tents. C’mon up!
